"Great is the mystery of the faith!"... This mystery, then, requires that the faithful believe in it, that they celebrate it, and that they live from it in a vital and personal relationship with the living and true God. This relationship is prayer. (from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2558)If we are to truly look at life through the eyes of faith, then we must look always through the lens of prayer. We receive the greatest gifts of HOPE in God's answer to our prayers. Yes... Even when His answer is, "No." You see, in God's "No" lies a mysterious promise of something more - something that our earthly eyes cannot see.
I am setting aside this page to give these gifts of Hope a home. As I come across prayer requests, I will add them to the list below and, if I hear of the answer to a prayer, I will note that as well. (I welcome your prayer requests and, if you wish to share them, the answers to those prayers. You may e-mail me privately at AliveInHope03@gmail.com and I will share only what you ask me to.) I ask only that, from time to time, you stop by and join me in praying for these intentions. Your prayers are so deeply appreciated!
- for a special intention
- for Fr. Jim (especially for physical healing) and for his intentions.
